We discussed a couple of cheeses, in there. There was Caciocavallo, the pulled-curd cheese Jesse found a really old example of. There was Brillat-Savarin, which the guys are going to make into Pop-Tart (and/or Toaster Strudel) sandwiches. And of course, there's the dreaded Casu Martzu, AKA maggot cheese, which none of the guys have tracked down, as yet.
There's also the invasive lionfish, which Jesse spent FAR too long calling 'scorpionfish' (Hot Dogs and Caviar: our motto is 'No Research or Preparation, EVER'). Here's a webpage outlining the impacts of this invasive species.
And lastly, here's a link to Millbrook Farm, the source for that Red Stag venison TK was going nuts for. Check it out! Beware, it's pricey!
Just found this podcast and it's really good guys! Keep up the hard work. Would you guys ever consider a cooking channel on YouTube? You guys could do a lot better than what's out there.
